In my last note I told the story of my love for packaging, and how it’s evolved over the years.
And it’s a love that shows no sign of abating, influencing much of the work I do for our clients.
The way I see it, there’s opportunity at every stage of the customer journey.
Opportunity to strengthen and solidify relationships, to re-confirm that your customer’s made the right decision.
Take the opportunity, and you put yourself in a great position.
Miss it, and their view of you can actually diminish.
And packaging can and does play a key role in that process.
One project over the years that I’m particularly proud of is one we’ve done for.
The Warwickshire based homebuilder recognised that they could be doing more to cement their relationship with house buyers, and so we put our heads together, coming up with a two-step delivery process:

STAGE 1 – Grey Vivella embossed folder, lined with maroon Kashgar and furnished with branded plastic sleeves holding relevant documentation. (see above left)
STAGE 2 – Branded box, with the A.C.Lloyd Homes logo in silver foil block, holding six enamel filled key fobs with keys for doors within the property, a bespoke and branded wall mounted key holder and two branded trolley key rings, all inset into grey laser cut foam, sitting comfortably in a light grey lined, cardboard constructed box. (see above right)
As you can imagine, this lands rather differently to a few sheets of paper and a bunch of keys on a key ring!
Yes, it required considerable thought and effort, but done once, that thought and effort is working time and time again to elevate relationship, improve referral potential and improve A.C.Lloyd Homes’ positioning.
